CTS-Called To Serve – We The People Song

Timing is everything, right? Political organizations and self-serving politicians are working 24/7 to divide America into red vs. blue. It’s not music to many voter’s ears. Meantime, CTS – Called to Serve is a “Freedom Rock Experience” bringing Americans together by creating and performing patriotic songs. “We The People” is one of their new originals. It is featured in this video.

CTS – Called To Serve is an Arizona-based rock band. Audiences have been rolling with them for more than a decade at events across the country and around the world.

Staying true to their patriotic values and lyrics, CTS – Called to Serve has performed on many military and other All-American stages from Pearl Harbor to the Pentagon. The band does not just aim to entertain audiences. Instead, it is hoping to remind people of who and what they are and inspire them to live fully.

“We The People” is the song featured in this video. It was performed at The Concert in the Park event held recently at the San Tan Valley Veteran Center in Arizona.

The concert made for a coming together of a pair of accomplished pilots. Jeff Senour, the front man for CTS – Called To Serve has also been a pilot for Southwest Airlines for 25 years. He has nearly 30-thousand hours flying in airplanes and helicopters. Jeff graciously acted as honorary co-pilot when he knew WWII Veteran Jack Holder was in attendance at the event, signing copies of his book, FEAR ADRENALINE AND EXCITEMENT.

Before performing We The People, Jeff Senour kindly too time in recognizing Jack Holder as a true American Hero for his service as a Pearl Harbor Survivor and distinguished U.S. Navy Aviator. Special thanks to Jeff for dedicating the song to Jack and the other military veterans in the audience.

In closing, I’ll tell you something you may not know. When you are in the post- production process editing a video with music, you can’t help but hear the song multiple times. This is because you wind up going back and forth from certain points of the song, trying things, reviewing them, and making changes. If you don’t like a song you are editing, it can quickly get annoying enough to drive you crazy!

Safe to say, I heard CTS – Called To Serve play the song, “We The People” multiple times. It got in my head… in a good way. And not just because of the patriotic lyrics, but much in part due to the catchy riff on the keyboards by Jerry Nuzum.

If you want to celebrate your freedom and country, I invite you to come by and meet Pearl Harbor Survivor Jack Holder at the CTS Called To Serve show tomorrow night in Scottsdale, Arizona.
